Rosedale is located in the northwest, just north of the Bow River and south of the TransCanada highway, with impressive views of the downtown core and the southern part of the city. This inner-city neighbourhood was first developed before World War II, and developers have been busy replacing many of the area’s older homes with upscale new infills.
Rosedale enjoys close proximity to downtown and two LRT stations, in addition to primary routes such as 16 Avenue N, 14 Street NW, and 10 Street NW. In keeping with similar older inner-city communities, Rosedale has a wealth of services and amenities within its boundaries. North Hill Centre, SAIT, the Alberta College of Art and Design, and the Jubilee Auditorium are situated just to the west. Rosedale also has both an elementary and a junior high school within the community for young families.
