Established in 1969, Penbrook Meadows is a mature community on the east side of Calgary. The neighbourhood enjoys excellent access to downtown via 17 Avenue SE or Memorial Drive and other parts of the city via nearby Stoney Trail and Deerfoot Trail. It is bordered by 68 Street SE, 17 Avenue Se, 52 Street SE, and Memorial Drive.
The community has several green spaces and sports fields to enjoy outdoor activities, and it's also close to Elliston Park, the home of Global Fest fireworks. Schools serving the area include G.W. Skene Elementary, James Short Memorial Elementary, Penbrooke Meadows Elementary, and St. Peter Elementary.
