It's no secret that we like to do our part and give back during the holidays. Giving back is a tradition we’re proud to continue. Each year, our team comes together to support our community in meaningful ways.
In addition to our annual food drive, our fantastic team members donated to the Santa’s Workshop Christmas Program by Made by Momma to help families living in Calgary who lack the means to have a memorable holiday.
SANTA'S WORKSHOP CHRISTMAS PROGRAM
Every year, Made by Momma receives last-minute referrals or requests for assistance from families experiencing crisis situations. This often happens long after families have been matched with sponsors through their Adopt-a-Momma program – right up until Christmas Eve.
Made by Momma's goal is to ensure that every child wakes up on Christmas morning with special gifts to open. They try to help these families have a great holiday, however they can. We are thrilled to have been a part of this amazing local charity initiative, and hope our donations can help brighten a family's Christmas!
ABOUT MADE BY MOMMA
Made by Momma is a grassroots non-profit organization and registered Canadian charity in Calgary that has served our community for 15 years. They help families facing adversity and crisis by providing healthy prepared meals, wholesome baked goods, baby essentials, children's items, supportive in-home visits, and many other services that allow mothers to rest, recover, and focus on their families and health.
Made by Momma is run by a team of dedicated volunteers. Because of this, they can keep operating costs low, maximizing the value of every donated dollar and item.
